YOU DESERVE TO CREATE THE LIFE YOU WANT
If we were to begin working together, one of the first things we would ask you is “What has happened recently, and what have you been experiencing that is causing you to seek help now?” We would seek to learn about the most pressing and stressful part of your struggles.
Then, we would work together to relieve your distress and upset as quickly as possible so you can begin to feel better.
We are not sure what you are presently struggling with, but it may help to learn about some of the common issues and challenges that people who contact us to begin therapy were dealing with when we first began to work together. Perhaps you will relate to some of the ways they felt, things they believed and experienced.
“I don’t ever feel good enough. It always seems like I screw up every relationship. I don’t want to be like this, but I feel so needy and insecure. I don’t know what my problem is.”

“We can’t even talk to each other without arguing, and I’m tired of the constant conflict and tension, so I brought up separation.” “I don’t feel close to him anymore and we haven’t been intimate for months.”
“I’ve been feeling stressed, stuck, and depressed. I don’t know how to get my life back on track. I want to move forward, but I’m anxious and afraid and I don’t know how to fix it or even fix me.”
Struggling through these types of difficult life experiences and dealing with painful feelings of anger, sadness, anxiety, grief, loss, fear, and betrayal is something you don’t have to suffer alone with.
Whether it’s your first time or you would be returning to therapy, contemplating coming to counseling at Health and Healing Therapy to to work on some new or old issues can be scary and anxiety-provoking. It may be easy to tell yourself that you don’t have time, you’ll be okay, you can’t afford it, or you can handle it without help.
Yet, something is happening to you right now that brought you to this place at this moment in time as you are reading these words. We encourage you to think about what you really need and what you are searching to find.
Whatever is happening, you likely have a desire, need and interest in talking to someone about what you are going through so you can receive some encouragement and understanding.
We all need support, compassion, and someone to give us a safe and non-judgmental space when we are struggling. Right now is when you need it and, in case you are wondering, YES, you deserve to receive it.
